Simon Cowell says David Archuleta and the rest of the Idol finalists are robotic. "They've watched the show over previous years. A group of David Cook's fans have started a Website to raise money to bring his cancer-stricken brother Adam back to L.A. in the event he makes the finals of American Idol. Cathy Wood, who created helpbringadamback.com, says her goal is to raise $80,000. "He needs a chartered medical jet to make the trip because his doctors have prohibited him from taking a commercial flight. If David doesn't make it to the finale, all the money raised will go to help Adam with his medical expenses."
Fox is considering changing American Idol’s format in order to boost sagging ratings. Some of the changes being considering are making the auditions flashbacks, cutting back on the judges’ comments and hearing less from Ryan Seacrest. Last week’s results show was the lowest rated in 5 years. Focus group participants are being asked to answer "Yes" or "no" to the following questions:“Simon’s comments turn me off from the show”

A source says the women in the mosh pits are sorority girls from L.A. area colleges. “Stage assistants choose specific women and place them where the hand-held cameras will swoop during performances. Last week, it was the Delta Gamma and Delta Delta Delta sororities.” Before each live show, the girls are taught how to clap and swing their hands over their heads. Some sororities are using the opportunity to be on American Idol as a way to recruit to more attractive women.
Fox reports that David Cook's self-released CD, Analog Heart, has been removed from Amazon.com. Sources say the network may have yanked the disc because it was released without their permission and before American Idol ended.

David Cook's cancer-stricken brother, Adam, is going to attend tonight's episode of American Idol. He will have a nurse and medic by his side and is flying to L.A. from Indiana on a private jet. Adam's wife, Kendra, says the trip has boosted his spirits.

She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie's permission. She used her Amex.”
Simon Cowell says this year’s crop of American Idol singers are boring. "It's a reality show. If you're bored, you're bored. If you're not, you're not. I can't help it if I'm bored. Sometimes it's mind-numbingly boring, and it shows on my face."
Jordin Sparks feels for David Cook, whose brother is suffering from cancer. She says she had to deal with some personal tragedies while on American Idol. "The week before we came up for the Top 24, my best friend passed away, and I was just like, 'I don't know if I can go out there.' I went to the funeral and came back and then my uncle passed away – and then my grandma ... and so I had three deaths go on during the show."
American Idol star David Cook is ok after going to the hospital with heart palpitations. He was driven to the ER following his American Idol performance and says he is stressed out because his brother has cancer. Fox tried to keep the story quiet by having a private doctor treat David. He has high blood pressure.

ET reports that David Archuleta's father, Jeff, screamed at him on Monday for botching his American Idol rehearsal. It brough the teen to years. LA Rag Mag claims Jeff was banned from the set of Star Search because he tried to intimidate another singer named Tiffany Evans by telling her she'd lose to David.
David Archuelta's homework includes reading “Catcher in the Rye,” “The Crucible,” “The Great Gatsby,” MacBeth,” and “Much Ado About Nothing”. He does all of his classwork on the Idol set.

Lionel Richie plans to release David Cook's cover of his song, "Hello". He says he loved his performance on American Idol. "I am putting that song out... myself, with David on it... That is a smash record that David did the other night... I couldn't believe it. David just played it as if it was his song from the beginning - there was no Lionel Richie involved. He had the arrangement. It was fabulous... he just killed it."
According to a net report, several blogs and adult magazines have been contacting friends of the American Idol contestants to see if they have any scandelous shots of them. Fox is advising their singers not to post racy shots of themselves in order to garner votes.

Idol favorite David Archuleta is attending Idol School during the week. Cali laws require him to attend class for 3 hours because he is under the age of 18. TMZ reports some of the male Idol contestants are jealous and already making comments behind David's back while the show's producers are talking to top songwriters about penning hits for him.

Paula Abdul says she may have a crush on Simon. "Just when you think we're all getting on, Simon turns and we get back into our little quarrels.
