LEE COUNTY
A suspicious package was found at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office headquarters on Friday.
Sheriff Carmine Marceno said the South Trail Fire Department was on the scene at LCSO headquarters on Six Mile Cypress Parkway.
The sheriff’s office did not say where the package was found on its grounds, what it looked like, or if the building was evacuated.
Marceno said there would be more updates in the future.
