MCGREGOR
An SUV crashed into a condominium off Cypress Lake Drive in McGregor early Monday morning, and the driver ran away.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the SUV was traveling west on Cypress Lake Drive, approaching Mariner Way just before 2 a.m. The right side of the SUV hit the north curb, causing the driver to lose control, veer off the roadway and collide with a condo building located on Mariner Way.
After the crash, the driver ran away from the scene. The driver’s identity remains under investigation.
