CHARLOTTE COUNTY
The Charlotte County and state fire marshalls are investigating a series of a suspicious fires that sparked at the Sunseeker Resort on Thursday.
Charlotte County Public Safety says several trash can-sized fires were reported on the second and third floors of the building.
Firefighters were able to use cans of water and fire extinguishers to put out the flames.
Charlotte County says the building’s structure wasn’t damaged.
