CAPE CORAL
A dangerous crash in Cape Coral ended with one victim getting transported by LeeFlight while the other was taken by an ambulance to get medical help Monday evening.
According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, two vehicles crashed shortly after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and Averill Boulevard.
The Cape Coral Police Department, LCEMS, Engine 10, and Battalion 3 all responded to the crash.

Once at the scene, firefighters extricated one of the victims, but they were not taken away for medical treatment.
However, there were two victims taken away as trauma alerts. One was transported using LeeFlight, while the other was taken away in an ambulance.
It’s unclear what their current condition is but WINK News will update this story when more information becomes available.
