ENGLEWOOD
One person was hospitalized as a trauma alert Friday morning after a car crashed into an Englewood church.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol and Charlotte County EMS, a Mustang crashed into Abundant Life Worship Center (formerly the Englewood Event Center) at 3069 S. McCall Road. A person was struck by the car and pinned. They have been taken to a hospital in Englewood.
The crash is being investigated.
