The North Port Police Department says it has arrested a 4th grader who is accused of recruiting other students to commit violence against their school.
Police say the 10-year-old from Toledo Blade Elementary School was recruiting other students to commit mass violence against the school.
Detectives were able to verify the written and verbal threats that were being made and identified and arrested the student responsible. That student is facing a felony for a false report to use a firearm in a violent manner.
Police say a robocall was sent out to parents to inform them of the situation.
